Artists and writers are brought together here in a combination of a wide range of individual perspectives: this is a collection of contributions whose format varies as much as its content. Indeed, Of Bridges & Borders seeks to provoke new forms of reading through proximity, difference, comparison, and contradiction.
In terms of time, its scope extends from the period following the fall of the Berlin Wall to the present. Conceptually speaking, its content brings together a wide range of works produced in a variety of media which, arranged dynamically, offer a clear contrast to the conventional encyclopedic structure.
