Description
Norah Borges: Out of Sight compiles previously unpublished sketches and notes by the Argentine artist. It offers a deep dive into the creative process and construction methods of the artist, which remained hidden for years.
Throughout her life, despite being quite well-known, Norah largely kept a low public profile. She gave few interviews and rarely exhibited her work. However, she lived her art to the fullest. She gave many of her paintings to friends and acquaintances, but kept a personal record with photographs and notes of most of her work. In her own words, "when the artwork is gone, one feels empty."
This book presents a collection of large-scale sketches, drawings, and her fully reproduced personal logbook, revealing Norah's commitment and passion for her work. With a foreword by Miguel de Torre Borges.
