Description
Don't Talk About Me. A Life and Its Museum describes a literary program, which is also a life program, that of the Argentine poet Darío Cantón. Based on his analysis and discovery, Sergio Chejfec reflects on the pact between literature and the documentary, the role of the archive, in a journey through the autobiographical that includes Borges, Flaubert, Pamuk, and other authors.
This new essay by writer Sergio Chejfec takes as its starting point the lecture he gave in the series "The Documentary Gaze " (2016) organized by Malba Literatura, in which Félix Bruzzone and María Moreno also participated. In each session, the authors were invited to reflect on the status of the documentary in fiction. This essay is a continuation of the work presented by its author at the museum, entitled "Strange Guests: Narrative and Document."
