Description
This photo essay presents a premise that, at first glance, might seem outlandish. A series of photographs of men from seven South American countries, stripped of their clothes and caught in their own worlds. Deprived of everything that covers them and surrounded by the little that shelters them. In the way they present themselves to the camera lie their history, their fears, their longings, and in the landscape that appears behind them, the other half of their lives. This is why this essay offers a glimpse into how some South American men approach life, and into certain ways of being, living, working, and waiting that exist today in this vast region.
