The Southern Right Whale necklace is inspired by the magnificent cetaceans that visit and inhabit the coasts of Argentina and Uruguay. A symbol of remarkable adaptation, whales evolved from land mammals that ventured into the sea in search of better opportunities. It's incredible to see the remnants of those past lives in the skeletal remains of their flippers.

About Ximena Clavelli
Ximena, a Uruguayan jewelry designer, lives and works in Buenos Aires. Raised in a family of artisans in Montevideo, she found in ceramics and jewelry a means to express her sensibility, combining learned techniques with design influences, the perseverance of independent work, and a poetic perspective on Latin American identity. Her porcelain jewelry collection is a synthesis of this journey, where the fox—a figure embodying adaptation, borders, and cultural fusion—becomes a symbol of an identity caught between the wild and the domesticated.
