I like to think of the faculty as a big house.
A house that simultaneously expresses, regardless of the moment in history, intense and conflicting feelings.

Fury. Love. Disorder. Union. All together at once, in that whirlwind of emotions that is FADU, which very slowly becomes part of our lives.
I like the faculty because it feels like my place, despite a lot of things that are bad for me. I don't know how many other places experience this feeling of sharing so many emotions at once, in that constant noise of the central courtyard that quickly turns into music.

I like the faculty because, ultimately, everything boils down to shared feelings that are shaping us. It's this sharing that allows me, in this space, to speak not of myself but of us, from a place of gratitude, and I think that's important in these times we're living in. I like the faculty because we like the faculty...
