Description

Directed by Argentinian Lisandro Alonso and released in 2006, Fantasma tells the story of Argentino Vargas, a fifty-six-year-old man who travels to Buenos Aires to visit a movie theater for the first time. Standing in the central hall of the San Martín Theater, he waits for someone to find him and take him to the tenth floor where the film he starred in a few years earlier is being shown. Misael Saavedra was also invited to the screening and is lost inside the theater, searching for the auditorium. The grand building, its restrooms, staircases, elevators, and workshops are the true protagonists of this mystery to be unraveled by two men unfamiliar with the surroundings.
