Why a book? What kind of book is this about the work of a visual artist? These initial questions encapsulate a deeper understanding that gradually revealed itself to those of us involved in its creation. For will became form, and then a journey through an immersive experience; a collaboration between authors and photographers, constructing a device that allows those who hold this book-object in their hands to "enter" the work of Andrés Waissman.

This is a book to look at and to read; a book that brings together the artist's work from 2010 to 2018. The photographs by Lihuel Gonzalez and Daniel Kiblisky allow us to take a visual journey through his recent production in such a way that the itinerary reveals something about each specific moment in a body of work spanning years, but even more so, and more effectively, it reveals the artist's inner journey: what is actually before our eyes is the beautiful and accomplished—assertive, just—evidence of something we do not see. At the same time, Vidal Mackinson, Mongan, and Ojeda Bär, in the manner of a dialogic composition, restore the invisible by speaking of it in their texts.
