Ninety years after the creation of Manifestación , Antonio Berni's emblematic work (Malba Collection), the Argentine duo Mondongo (Juliana Laffitte and Manuel Mendanha) pays homage with a site-specific exhibition presenting their version of the piece. Bearing the same title and in the same format as Berni's original, Mondongo reinterprets the meaning of the demonstration with materials and characters from their own distinctive creative world, updating the spirit of Berni's work and underscoring its relevance in the current social context. This publication documents the project, produced specifically for Malba.

The book offers a glimpse into Mondongo's workshop through a rich selection of images that meticulously document the creative process from start to finish. Furthermore, like a multifaceted sounding board, twelve texts by renowned authors are brought together to contextualize and interpret the duo's work from diverse disciplines such as literature, film, and art history.
