Catalogue of the exhibition Bye Bye, American Pie , presented at Malba between March 30 and June 4, 2012.

In conjunction with the exhibition Bye Bye, American Pie, Malba published this book, which includes curator Philip Larratt-Smith's essay "Civilization and Its Discontents ," and contributions prepared specifically for the exhibition by American novelist and cultural critic Gary Indiana ( "The Fall of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse ") and British writer and philosopher John Gray ( "The Electrographic Dream "). The essays are accompanied by a visual timeline of images from American cinema, politics, and history, compiled by the curator. The book also includes a section dedicated to reproductions of the artworks and brief texts about each artist in relation to the curatorial thesis.
