Catalogue of the exhibition Contemporary Argentine Art in the Malba Collection. Works 1989—2010 , presented at Malba between June 10 and August 29, 2011.

In its tenth anniversary year, the museum presented an exhibition of contemporary Argentine art comprised of works from its collection. Curated by Marcelo E. Pacheco, the show encompassed more than one hundred works by sixty national artists produced during the 1990s and 2000s. The selection allowed the public to access, for the first time, many heritage pieces that were not normally on display.

This catalogue, published to accompany the exhibition, is a compendium of the Argentine presence in the Malba Collection up to its first ten years, with a strong emphasis on the 1990s. In addition to a curatorial essay that reviews the history of the museum's acquisitions, its internal relationships and its lines of growth, it includes reproductions of all the exhibited pieces and biographical notes on their authors.
