Description
The Temporal Invariant is a selection of works by the artist Marcelo Grosman from the late 1980s to the present. His work spans various media, from photography to the use of image archives, installation, video, and multiple forms of optical reproduction and capture, both contemporary and obsolete. The image and the moving subject are the synthesis of a conceptual exercise inscribed throughout his entire oeuvre.
The publication is organized around the artist's different intellectual explorations: the domestication of the body, social taxonomies, secret languages, the iconography of gesture, and the uses of technique among his multiple pursuits.
It includes texts by Ariel Schettini, Virginia Castro, Santiago García Navarro and Amanda de la Garza Mata.
