Description

Analog photography and its gelatin silver prints possess a powerful energy, an aura, and a profound mystery. They have an author, and real people appear in them. I believe that conflict amplifies the magnetism of the images. I always tried to be transgressive with my work, and I always experienced it with fear and guilt. I think those feelings are present in these photos. The "discovery," which is an act, an action inherent to the photographer's gaze, in this case isn't the click or the framing, but rather the act of finding the photograph among the cluttered drawers of antique shops.
