Twenty-three years after Malba's founding, Malba Puertos, a new versatile and inclusive exhibition space in the province of Buenos Aires, will open to the public on September 22nd.
Located in the town of Escobar, 50 km from the original venue, Malba Puertos aims to bring ideas, federal projects, and prominent voices from the current art scene to new communities through a program of exhibitions and cultural activities.
Malba Puertos is the hub of an urban-artistic network generated by the Public Art Circuit. The program's more than twenty site-specific works are located throughout the city of Puertos, in harmony with the 200-hectare Central Lake and the Nature Reserve on the Luján River.
The museum, with free admission, is comprised of five indoor and outdoor spaces offering different formats and exhibition media. Among them is the technical reserve, which houses pieces from the Malba Collection and the Eduardo F. Costantini Collection and is open to the public.
